Two parts Washed Out, one part GTA soundtrack, and a garnish of anemic vocals gives you the Nudehues-a frilly cocktail that Don Draper might enjoy while on vacation in the Bahamas. Sure it's a bit melodramatic, sure your dad probably has something like it on an eight-track lying around your attic, but that's the charm isn't it? These are just a few more great tracks for sitting in the kiddie-pool, reading a great book, and soaking in all the UV rays you can take. Enjoy.
Folk-Tronica
Lots of cool things come out of Edinburgh: My distant relatives, Trainspotting, but what takes the cake is Molly Wagger. To simply call them "indie" is a misnomer, they are a four piece electronic-folk outfit that will blow your mind. Their latest release Flambeaux has just been dropped via Tirk Records and we can be expecting many more great things from these genre-bending pioneers.
