Four Tet's Fabriclive 59 mix is coming out soon (on September 19, to be exact), but here's a new track to whet your appetite until then. Maybe it's just because I'm following the right subset of people on Twitter, but it feels like this Fabriclive mix is getting quite a bit of hype before its release. Locked, the closer, is filled with the subtleties you'd expect from Four Tet. It's a mellow, subdued track with some sweet bass welling up in the middle, juxtaposed with a raindroppy hook that I can only describe as swirly and pulled together with a subtle beat. The track will also be available as a 12" single in September.
