There's no exact way of knowing how many songs are released in a day. Whether it be an eighteen second kazoo ditty on Soundcloud, or a Hypem track with 4 hearts, all music deserves a shot. Indie-Punk
Loads of cool things come out of Bristol. First and foremost is the show Skins, but a very close second would have to be Bravo Brave Bats-a great indie-punk band that has toured with greats like Titus Andronicus. Their Green EP is feel-good, ska influenced, summertime jam after jam. Hopefully their November EP (which will complete their color themed trilogy) will be able to stand up to the greatness of this stellar sophomore effort.

Post-Rock
For me, it's tough not to love drone music. Modulating timbres, cinematic textures, slow volume swells, and feedback galore makes-again-for music that makes me want to interpretive dance. Ektoise is a stellar experimental band, my post-rock label is a bit misleading and unfair because they do not follow any pre-conceived formula. Their latest release Kiyomizu is an all-out urban decay soundtrack, great for dramatic bike rides through the warehouse district. Pick your copy up on their Bandcamp now!
