AOL Instant Messenger and my buddy, Jeremiah Wassom, have alerted me to a lot over the years. I know, that makes me sound old. Anyhow, this dude, Jeremiah, went ahead and assumed that I had a copy of the Stay Kids, the debut album from South Florida's ANR (short for Awesome New Republic). I had no idea who they were. I asked him if I should. He said I should. A couple hours passed and now I'm telling you about them.
They've got a cool, upbeat and anthematic sound. Usually, I turn my head to anthematic sounding bands…but, I'll make an exception this time.
They've put up a couple of singles on Bandcamp, they've made a pretty cool music video (below)…
