After what seemed like a lengthy hiatus, Birdy Nam Nam released a free one today and this track has Parisian fingerprints left all over it. The punch and punch back of the kick versus the snare is what brought people to their knees the first time they heard Cross.
For those of you that don't know BNN, they're a long standing four man collective stationed in France. Their gig setup consists of around 8 turntables and they serve to push the envelope when it comes to the distinction between live performances and disc jockeying. They've got an LP in the works and the man behind the mixing desk is none other but our favourite veteran producer Para One.
