Today's delivery is brought to you by Has-Lo. This MC recently released his In Case I Don't Make It album which contains a perfect mix of dark imagary with perfect story telling. And when I say dark; I don't mean its scary but dark in the way you might feel at night in a big city. Not a "sad" feeling but a somewhat lonely introspective feeling. The whole album doesn't feel that way but most of it has that type of feeling. But, that doesn't take away from how dope the album is. It actually makes it have an amazing amount of weight and substance which will have you listening to it over and over because you'll relate to something. Also, the production of the album is amazing and I could easily close my eyes and pick any song from the album from this feature. Has-Lo did all his own production which takes the album up ANOTHER notch. The track I'm bringing to you today, from that album, is called "Kinetic Energy" which is a somewhat upbeat yet rhythmically chilled out track of epic proportions which clocks in right over 5 minutes.
