This 25 year old London artist, known as Alex Clare, is quickly climbing the ranks and is set to take the music scene by storm. What makes him unique is his instantly recognizably soulful voice. There is real emotion in what he's producing. He just released a video for his track "Too Close" which mixes the soulfulness of his voice with a somewhat subtle dubstep/electronic sound. Now, he is set to release his debut album this summer which even features production from Major Lazer (Diplo & Switch). So, when you check out the tracks; you will instantly be blown away by the power in his vocals and then your ears are rewarded with amazing production. Also, keep a look out for his upcoming tour dates.
Clare writes and sings his own songs but is not a singer songwriter, not in the traditional sense anyway. After playing in a succession of London bands and following a brief career as a chef, too many long hours and too many sliced fingers, Alex decided to go it alone and started writing songs and demoing them himself. Things happened very quickly from there.
