London based The Living Graham Bond is a new face around here but his sounds bleed some recognizable influences. I'd say Jack Beats meets Canblaster. His remix for Origin Unknown's Valley of the Shadows sticks a fidget bassline in a world of postmodern new age house. There's a lot of things to love about this track. Start with the drums though, rude and busy until you're soothed out by waterfall arpeggios and key melodies in the breakdown. The work has story and that's why I like it.
