So lets mix it up for a second.. let me deliver you ladies and gents some eyemilk(dot dot dot question mark). Basically the great Brooklyn born Merlin Bronques, or for those of you that know him as the founding father of lastnightsparty.com, that in which is the definition of night life photography.. is now branching out into videography.
The videos are 6+ minute episodes. They have a strong verite style(cinema of truth) approach to them.. "a style of documentary film making, combining naturalistic techniques with stylized cinematic devices of editing and camerawork, staged set-ups, and the use of the camera to provoke subjects." Each episode so far takes us on a journey from one subject to another, each subject in a different/random scenario in some part of NYC. Not sure what more to say.. except the videos are amazing and addicting as hell. Great music, engaging short stories, awesome camera angles, and hot hipster chicks..
So far theres only been 2 episodes released, but hopefully this will turn into a weekly occurrence. The soundtracks are featured under the episodes in order as well. All I know is I could watch my man Frog walk around NYC for 60 minutes straight.. either way check them out now, enjoy getting addicted.
