When you put two names together like Zeds Dead and NGHTMRE, one can only imagine what sort of monstrous work they'd construct together. The two acts have had a busy last few months, with Toronto-based Zeds Dead embarking their "Northern Lights" tour and NGHTMRE kicking off his "Gud Vibrations" tour alongside Slander.

Despite constantly being on the road, the two still find time to join forces and create a banger to jump start your weekend. "Frontlines" unveiled today, features vocals from GG Magree and was first teased at Chicago's Spring Awakening. When considering names like Zeds Dead and NGHTMRE, listeners would likely assume a hard-hitting banger with trap infused beats and growling dub synths. Adversely, their newest "Frontlines" goes hard in a different sense, emitting an infectious emotional energy through GG Magree's sultry vocals. The punchy synths follow up to a saturated jumble of vocal chops give the track a dimensional element. In all it's grandeur, "Frontlines" is one to look forward to in both artist's sets, as it is both weighty in feels but uplifting in it's sound.

"The chord progression for this track really stood out to me and I immediately wrote some ideas for vocal chops and arranged the tracks. A few months later we met up in LA and got in the studio to lock in the main idea and find a vocal. I originally pictured a track between us to be a bit heavier, but once we wrote these melodies and vocal chops I really fell in love with the emotion of the track." – NGHTMRE

an ideal day consists of wandering a korean supermarket for cutely packaged snacks, stumbling upon instagram worthy neon signage, concluded with me drowning in several down blankets & obsessively sifting soundcloud to find a track that suitably fits my mood.
