Chill…
Today's delivery is brought to you by NIKO Is. This is one of those moments that you truly enjoy when you are able to share music from an artist that is pretty unknown to the general population. They may not have their style perfectly figured out or have their sound perfectly mixed yet what's obvious is there obvious skill. You immediately recognize if an artist has a future based on your first impressing. You may be wrong but we all make those quick assumptions. So, when I first came across Niko Is, I immediately noticed his passion for music. Born in Brazil and raised in Orlando; he obviously has a full catalog of genres that he'd be influenced with. From hip-hop to funk to jazz; you'll find he finds a way to take usage of all these different audible treats. He just released his latest project entitled Chill Nye (on Great People) which, obviously, caught my attention from his clever title alone. The track I'm bringing to you today is called "Doobs of Hazard" which takes use of a very 90's R&B/jazzy instrumental mixed with washed out backup vocals. His rap style sometimes reminds me of G-Eazy but other time's it's completely different which you have to appreciate. Check out the track and chill…
