St. Vincent has made an announcement regarding her fifth studio album. Her new LP is titled MASSEDUCTION, which is the follow-up to her well received self-titled LP that came out in 2014. She made the announcement during a fake press conference on Facebook September 6. She said the album should be pronounced "mass seduction," and she also mentioned that “putting out a record is like having a Bridezilla-style wedding every two to three years.”
The LP was recorded with producer Jack Antonoff, who is best known for working with Lorde, and features the extremely talented Kamasi Washington, Jenny Lewis and many others. The album is also set to be released on limited edition pink vinyl for all those record collectors out there. MASSEDUCATION will be available for purchase October 13.
