Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last 18 months, you’ll have found it hard not to watch Manchester tag team Solardo on their meteoric rise to tech house fame. Establishing themselves on to the scene with 'Tribesman' on Hot Creations way back in 2016, they’ve provided a Radio 1 essential mix as well as hit after hit on labels such as Relief, Toolroom and their very own Sola imprint.
Kick starting 2018 how they mean to carry on, Solardo are dropping their debut EP on Repopulate Mars – joining CamelPhat, Latmun, Eli Brown and Detlef to name a small selection. ‘Today’s News’ is a two tracker immediately recognisable as Solardos unique sound. The title track ‘Today’s News’ is packed with endless bass, crunchy snares and a sample from the viral Fox News video which many will recognise. The second track 'Give Yourself Up' is a rave ready tip of the hat towards the heyday of dance music – energetic hats, claps and classic samples.
Solardo are currently gearing up for their europeanSolardo Sessions tour & have also been confirmed on the bill at Hideout Festival in Croatia.
