SOFI TUKKER have been on an absolute tear with their daily live streams during quarantine. For the past four months, they've also claimed a weekly residency spot on Insomniac's House Tuesdays, streaming on Twitch every Tuesday from 7pm-9pm PT.
Every week they bring the energy, and lay down two hours of nonstop house bangers. And tonight was no different. Performing on the eve of the 2021 Inauguration, ST turned things political and clearly enjoyed themselves while doing so. They kick off the 30 min mark, with a fiery house beat and a sample of Kamala Harris' victory speech. Followed shortly after, with a sample of Kamala Harris' victory phone call to President-elect Joe Biden, when the results were called back on November 7th.
At 30:10, Harris is heard reciting, “Dream with ambition, lead with conviction and see yourselves in a way others may not, simply because they have never seen it before." and at 31:19 "We did it, we did it Joe. You're going to be the next President of the United States."
Both Sophie and Tucker are loving every second of it; laughing and very much emotionally behind it. Tucker shouts out, "If that doesn't get you up and ready for House Tuesday, I don't know what does!".
