If you're a regular in the Toronto house music scene you'll likely remember a little party called SILO that began about two years ago in the basement of a Queen Street West nightclub. This month, the crew behind SILO – Saving Individuals Like Ourselves – is relaunching it in a big way. Partnering with established promoters My Side Project (who have been doing some incredible bookings on their own – Borrowed Identity, Brawther, Jacques Renault) and ALL BLAK (featured on EARMILK before, the label has garnered the support of Joseph Capriati and more) to relaunch with a new direction, which will include international bookings at different venues around the city.
"SILO is an accumulation of ideals, a collective of individuals vested in bringing like-minded people together upon the common ground of one thing, music." If there's one thing we can support here at EARMILK, it's connecting through music. You can catch the relaunch party at Toika next Friday, March 18th, from 10-4am or later with sets from Andrew Choe, Matias Busato, and Patrick Blue.
