Panorama is due to hit New York City’s Randall’s Island Park for a sophomore appearance of the festival on Jul 28th-30th. The “East Coast Coachella” will be the big summer tour stops for headliners Solange, Frank Ocean, Tame Impala, Alt-J, Nine Inch Nails and A Tribe Called Quest, but this week the festival has announced a new piece of its puzzle that offers fans of electronic music and house some more intrigue.
The Point will be a new offering at Panorama in 2017, offering an open air club experience that in description sounds inspired by Coachella’s Do Lab. Featuring the best sound system available – the Funktion One – interactive dance experience, and music curated by The Parrish, Motor City Drum Ensemble and Derrick Carter, The Point sounds like a haven for lovers of deep beats.
