Milk + Cookies announces Gucci Mane as headliner

Milk + Cookies festival has announced that Gucci Mane and Alison Wonderland will headline the desert-inspired music festival. Taking place in Atlanta, GA at the Centennial Yards, festival go-ers will experience a day of music, food, and creative activities designed to create an unforgettable experience.

More than just a festival, founders Chase Freeman, Jhordan Gibbs, Greg Burton, and Kevin Reese started Milk + Cookies back in 2015 as a way to create a creative community in Atlanta. Their careful curation of artists goes together like, you guessed it, milk and cookies. “Our palette is diverse and Atlanta’s palette is really diverse,” Freeman said about the music curation process. The festival previously featured performances from Kaytranada, Summer Walker, Masego, SAINt JHN, Polo G, RL Grime, and Jack Harlow. While all huge headliners now, the purpose of Milk + Cookies has been connecting the community with up and coming musicians.

This year’s headliners will also include DJ collectives WERC Crew and Perreo404, Sango, and Xavier BLK x Hourglass, in addition to local and national acts. While Atlanta is heavily recognized for its hip-hop/R&B culture, the four founders are making sure that there is a little something for everybody to enjoy. Leading with a diverse ticket, Milk + Cookies also has the goal of making sure fans leave with a new music interest.

The musical experience is key for the festival, fans will be treated to a complete multi-sensory experience in the heart of Atlanta. “We always galvanize the community, so we make sure that there are local food trucks, local vendors, local artists, we really keep it pretty Atlanta as much as we can. Our logo is even created by an Atlanta artist,” Freeman said. “Everything that we do, we’re looking to support the community.”

Tickets are now on sale for the festival and festival goers will have the chance to purchase VIP tickets. Milk + Cookies is set to kick-off on Saturday, June 4 at the Centennial Yards. Ahead of the festival, Milk + Cookies will also be curating shows leading up to the main event. Smaller, intimate shows will feature Bathe, Amber Mark, and Fivio Foreign. Grab tickets here.
