Known for his ability to fuse together avant-garde sensibility with techno, Antoine Husson, better known as Electric Rescue, has been making dance floors move ever since Laurent Garnier discovered him. His track record includes signings to some of the top labels including Cocoon Recordings, Boys Noize Records, Bedrock, Sci + Tec, and most recently John Digweed’s Bedrock label. His next album Sonic Architecture is slated for release on June 10th on the Bedrock label, celebrated for its 14 years of pushing boundaries and maintaining superior standards in every facet of their work.
The new album is a 12 track collection that shows the multitalented French artists ability to skillfully move between the kind of extended, melodic techno to some harder edged dance floor beats and experimental electronica he’s brought to the forefront on Gallic soil. While there is still some time for the album release, you can check out his latest April set from Panorama Bar, as well as the video for “Lili Long Edit (lili rêve).”
Now word on the street is the Berghain (Panorama) is not only of the world’s best nightclubs, but also one of the most exclusive clubs in the world. The most infamous aspect of the club is its door policy—hundreds of people are turned away each weekend, including regulars, often for reasons that are completely mysterious to everyone except the doormen. Now here’s your chance to come inside for an hour with Mr. Husson. The video for “Lili Long” features the work of G.J.Smeenk’s “Het National Ballet." While the video may not be safe for work, it is sexy, seductive and a perfect accouterment to the work of Electric Rescue. Cheek out both below and be sure to come back in June for the album release.
