EARMILK is excited to bring our first musical showcase of the year in downtown Los Angeles this week. We dedicate ourselves to providing the opportunity for fans to discover tomorrow's biggest acts in hip-hop, dance and indie-rock music. On Wednesday, October 26, from 8pm-till late in the night, we are showcasing a carefully curated and deliciously eclectic lineup of some of our favorite artists in each genre for a night of unforgettable music!
We'll be kicking off with LA-based hip-hop recording artist, Tate Tucker, whose versatility has already captivated audiences with the release of his infectious new Prelude EP. His smooth flow, addictive and clean production commands the ear of anyone.
Next up is hands down one of our top electronic artists of the year, Justin Jay. This Dirtybird record label DJ and producer has rocked the dance circuit by storm, having celebrated the diversity of his sound with his latest project – Justin Jay & Friends. His deep house cuts and amped up beats place him on the forefront of driving underground house music to the main steam. He has an ear to the ground for groovy, feel-good music which keeps crowds dancing and swaying till the sweat pours down thier face.
Finally, we'll be ending the night with our headliner, one of our top indie-rock artists and an absolute heavy hitter on the music scene this year, Grace Mitchell (an EARMILK Artist of the Month earlier in the year). Every critic who has come across her has agreed, her raw, natural and in your face, kick ass sound voice is fueled by a deep soulful voice and a commanding stage presence. Prepare, because Mitchell is the kind of musician that will turn a rock genre upside down and make it her own.
This night is a free event (21+) but be careful as space is limited so get there early.
A special guest DJ performance from Kate Moennig will keep the party going till late at night.
