Last time EARMILK ventured over into Atlanta (see pictures here), Graveyard Tavern turned into a completely unhinged, booty bouncing grind fest. This time around, we had to upgrade to the ATL infamous venue MJQ Concourse. A much larger space is required for this B/\SS to vibrate.
Atlanta has become a recent hotbed for art, music, and all other creative outlets. Long story short, even during the recent recession, Atlanta's economy somehow improved while the rest of the country was struggling to stay afloat. Cobra Corps has been the brooding epicenter of nearly all things live music and dance party related in the ATL scene for many years past. Basically, if you want an event or party filled out with people ready to rage, you're gonna need them involved.
If VAVLT BOYZ are not yet on your radar, please allow me to introduce them to you. Heroes X Villains (worked alongside the likes of Justin Timberlake, Lil' Wayne, T.I. and Young Jeezy) and Blkkmorris came together as long term friends and record label partners, appropriately named VAVLT, to form a masked dj duo that focuses on the deeper, sexier side of bass music. Jersey Club, Future R&B, Ghetto House, and other assorted genres that swing more to the favor of the female persuasion fill their sets with ominous vibrations.
I, Tanner Caldwell, will also be joining VAVLT BOYZ and Atlanta's super home town hero Sofaking Evil on Saturday, September 7th 2013 to drop a DJ set for B/\SS.
Free entry with costume. $5 before midnight and $10 after. Doors open at 11 PM.
