In what has been the strangest of years, the music industry has been pushed to remain innovative and imaginative — enter BBL CLB. Described as a crossover between Bandersnatch and Boiler Room, BBL CLB prepares to take viewers to a new dimension over the coming weeks.
We’ve had plenty of live streams to keep us ticking over until the clubs reopen, but this new concept takes things one step further, merging immersive theatre with the “thrill of hunting down an illegal rave” to create an interactive experience for groups of two, four or six. BBL CLB opens its virtual doors on February 11th — and with stacked line ups including the likes of Altern-8, Secretsundaze, 24 Hour Garage Girls, Crazy P Soundsystem, Heartless Crew and more — there’s something here for everyone to enjoy.
The concept plays out on zoom, where attendees are guided through a series of situations, and an interactive cast may either help or hinder your quest to find the illegal rave. Featuring a number of storylines and potential outcomes, the decisions you make will determine your progress. Once the rave has been located, you’re free to enjoy exclusive live sets from some of the very best in the business. It’s intriguing, original, and a perfect way to have fun with your mates from the comfort (and safety) of your own home. The full schedule of shows can be found here.
