88rising brought a pleasant surprise to the world in 2018 by initiating its first ever Head in The Clouds Arts & Music Festival in Los Angeles, bringing forth underrepresented artists and cultures onto the main stage and subsequently, into the mainstream. Known for its ethos of diversifying the American urban music scene, the creative agency and music label headed by Sean Miyashiro once again returns to the Los Angeles State Historical Park on August 17th for its second annual run, revealing an incredible roster of international acts. The festival will be a day long celebration of Asian youth culture and creativity, highlighting the best in music, food, art, and fashion from around the globe.
Featuring label luminaries including Rich Brian, Joji and Higher Brothers, Head in The Clouds has also added K-Pop sensations to the list, in addition to an all-new stage featuring some of the finest electronic music talent that the industry has to offer. "We're excited to bring some of the most exciting electronic artists from Asia in a brand new stage at this year's festival," Miyashiro tells Billboard Dance. "Head In The Clouds is going to be an unforgettable experience, and we're thrilled to host so many talented artists across genres."
