Last weekend we attended the third annual, John Walt Day where Red Bull Music Festival Chicago hosted two nights of the hip-hop collective Pivot Gang and their friends to celebrate the life of late Chicago rapper John Walt. Two benefit shows took place at The Metro, where 100% of ticket sales went to the John Walt Foundation supporting Chicago creatives in the arts. Throughout our video recap you’ll find Pivot Gang performing some of their most popular songs alongside other Chicago artists including Femdot and Kari Faux. Overall, we wanted to highlight the positive energy surrounding John Walt Day and share that experience with you so here you go.
