Piknic Electronik celebrates their 17th season with a stacked summer lineup

Piknic Electronik is back in the midst of their 17th summer season and the legendary party series is highlighted by some major performances over the course of the summer in Montreal. Last weekend saw DJ Tennis and his Life and Death showcase hit the park, while this weekend features a hometown affair with local hero Kora headlining. The fact that Piknic brings in such high level talent every single week of the summer is something to behold, and for under $20 is rare in this age in North America. With impressive lineups each weekend and a beautiful site on the island across from the downtown on Montreal, the festival is unique in encouraging attendees to bring a picnic and enjoy the day.

Later in the summer we'll be interviewing a key headliner for the website, so stay tuned towards the season closer in September for that! The upcoming events feature Chus & Ceballos (June 30), HOSH (July 7), Soul Clap (July 14), Deborah De Luca (July 21), and house masters Detroit Swindle (July 28). There's a perfect variety of sounds sprinkled in throughout the summer, between tech house rollers, house classics, techno bombs and the melodic house of artists like HOSH, Piknic truly has something for everyone. And with two stages each day anyways there's no shortage of music to go around each Sunday.
