Sometimes, just sometimes, our musical prayers are heard and answered and tomorrow they will be in the form of a brand new concept from residential royalty Danny Howard and Annie Mac over at BBC Radio 1. If you don't already know, Live Lounge is a show featured at the heralded London station delivering covers and live versions of music. From Stormzy to Thirty Seconds To Mars, All Time Low to Ed Sheeran, Live Lounge is a platform for artists to display their diversity and try something different. Say hello to Radio 1's latest delivery The Rave Lounge, which this Friday takes over The Live Lounge for the very first time.

Premiering tomorrow night on Radio 1 The Rave Lounge, presented by Danny and Annie, will showcase some of the best talents in the dance music world. The exclusive show will be broadcast live from 8pm till 1am on air and online, and will be available on BBC iPlayer shortly after. With Radio 1's constant innovative movements making waves with live music features, radio shows, documentaries and events like the Ibiza big weekend constantly pushing the scene forwards, they are recognized for providing the very best platform in electronic culture.

A carefully selected choice of DJs and producers have been chosen to join Danny and Annie for the live show. Fellow Radio 1 DJs B Traits, Rene La Vice (who'll be joining to not only DJ but co-host too) and Monki – who will be playing back to back with Annie Mac – will all be live in the studio. As well as Danny Howard B2B with Defected DJ Franky Rizardo, there will also be music from Artwork, Mella Dee, Gorgon City, Mark Knight, Riton, Kah-Lo & Mr Eazi, Danny Byrd, S.P.Y and Miss Kitten.

Rave Lounge Warm-up will be available tomorrow Friday 30th March at 7pm GMT on Radio 1, with the Rave Lounge series kicking off at 8pm taking you all the way through Friday night up until 1am. You can tune in via the Radio 1 app or listen on web player/your device HERE.
