VAVLT BOYZ return with their haunting fourth mix episode: 'The Rapture' [Mix + Atlanta Event]

For most, Heroes X Villains aka HXV needs no introduction. Daniel Pollard and Pete Held are the powerful Atlanta based duo that have conquered the world over with their own brand of trap music. Pete usually stays put in the A working on the production side of things while Daniel maintains his title of sanctioned road warrior, but their roles tend to often cross over. BLKKMORRIS is a man of many hats (literally and figuratively speaking). Running the infamous FRESH.I.AM clothing line and the nightlife kings of the south dubbed Cobra Corps, all the while commanding many DJ residencies, traveling the world to perform, and producing.

Together Daniel and BLKKMORRIS manifested VAVLT BOYZ. The guiding dark void of Atlanta's deeper realm and aesthetic. Their VAVLT BOYZ mix series ventures across the realms of deep house, techno, and ghetto tech while infusing rap and r&b fluidly throughout. Episode IV is aptly named The Rapture. Although it stays consistent with previous editions of the series, it presses into the new year with even darker grooves that flow seamlessly through sweaty, grind inducing vibes and into grimy breakbeats that fully hypnotize the senses.

"Back in 2011 BLKKMORRIS and I created a weekly invite only event where we could play everything we were into regardless of genre. It was our hope to create a room filled with good vibes and good taste, connecting with our friends built around our love for music and ideas. VAVLT ran for a successful 18 months, spawned numerous mixtapes and acted as a platform for upcoming acts like HYDRABADD, NEVR, and Respire before closing down while I went on the road. I believe its necessary to have a night in Atlanta thats focused on curating the next talent, develop new trends and most importantly: dance. VAVLT returns in 2015 at Music Room with an exclusive 5 Hour set by the original VAVLT BOYZ: HXV and BLKKMORRIS." – Heroes X Villains
