Broods, hailing from New Zealand, released their first full-length album Evergreen to positive reviews. The dyad of Georgia Nott and older brother Caleb Nott, create introspective indie pop/electronica tunes. Their single "Bridges," was released and peaked at number 8 on the New Zealand singles chart. Soon after, they signed to Capital and Polydor Records.
Joel Little, who produced Lorde's hit song "Royals," worked with the brother and sister duo on Evergreen. The work he did with them helped to mold and enhance the groups sound. When their debut album Evergreen was released, it immediately went to number 1 on the New Zealand album charts. Broods would go on to tour North America with the Ellie Goulding and Sam Smith.
