Spotify and Uber join forces

This seems like a match made in cab passenger heaven. Spotify and the popular car service Uber, have teamed up to let Uber passengers listen to music from their Spotify accounts, while riding in their cab. The only catch is that you'll need a Spotify premium account and you won't be able to play "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift on loop.

Uber passengers will be able to take advantage of the service starting November 21. The service will be available in New York, Los Angeles, London, Nashville, Toronto, San Francisco, Mexico City, Singapore, Sydney, and Stockholm. In some of these cities, artists like Diplo, Matt and Kim, Andrew W.K., and Kevin Drew may participate in live sessions and possible ride alongs.

This seems like a very interesting partnership, which may help both booming business continue to thrive. Take a look at a demo version of how the service will work below.
