Live Nation's Boomrat announces the top electronic artists to know

If you haven't heard of new music discovery app Boomrat, you likely will very, very soon. Backed by Live Nation, the music discovery app creates a personalized experience for fans based off of their favorite artists. Fans can track artists they like and easily stay up to date with their new releases. When a fan tracks an artist, they will see notifications when that artist is tagged to a new song, in addition to a live update on their dynamic feed. Fans can see when their friends track new artists and songs. Boomrat Artist Pages are complete with your current catalog of music including mixes and live sets that are pulled from Soundcloud and blogs. Boomrat embeds and links to all of your social feeds, including Instagram, Twitter, Youtube and Soundcloud.

Truth be told, there are already a number of solid music apps that already do most of the things listed above. But Boomrat  plans to to make artist discovery even easier. With the launch of its Directory feature, the app will highlight the most relevant 130 artists in the space.  On September 8th, Boomrat will announce their Top 50 Featured Artists to know, the Top 30 Trending Artists, and the Top 50 Emerging Artists to watch. These acclaimed DJs were carefully selected via consumer driven data pulled from the site, blog and social media activity, online stats and coverage, along with feedback from music curators & users.  Additionally, Boomrat will showcase the most credible electronic dance blogs and influential users.

Boomrat will also nclude a Trending Chart that pulls from 400+ music sites, a latest stream of new music from blogs, and curated playlists. Boomrat also features exclusive playlists with top artists and labels. Past collaborations include: AC Slater, Booka Shade, Oliver Heldens, OWSLA and Dirtybird.

With backing from major sponsors, the app is poised to do big things in the next few months. Check the links below to take a look, and sign up now for an entirely new approach to music discovery.
