It's safe to say that Maya Jane Coles is the reigning queen of deep house. With the consistent critical acclaim she continues to receive with every move in her career, her live shows are a big contributor to the fame and accolades she's racked up (along with a badass demeanor). This weekend Brooklyn's Verboten New York welcomes Ms. Coles to grace the decks of its newly minted club, after an outdoor show for the ages during July 4th last year at the Williamsburg Waterfront.
