One of the leading voices of dance music, the venerable Annie Mac of BBC Radio 1 will start her North American Tour on March 10th at Output New York. Having established herself as one of the premiere tastemakers in the electronic scene, an endorsement from Mac is tantamount to earning a gold star in the music industry. Last fall, EARMILK got to speak with the dance maven, who let loose about her Annie Mac Presents series, where her passion came from, and even dropped a hint about the tour at hand.
The tour spans two weeks and stretches from Texas to Toronto, visiting some of the industry's favorite clubs (U Street Music Hall) and making two huge pit stops: SXSW and the Winter Music Conference. Joining Annie Mac on the journey will be a star-studded lineup, including Skream, Cajmere, Jacques Green and Gorgon City with other extra special guests to be announced for her two mega-shows.
