With the smorgasbord of New Year's Eve events hitting every town, city, and metropolis, choosing between them proves a difficult situation. However, if you want something a bit different than your standard black tie and ball drop, San Francisco (as always) has you covered. Located in the historic Armory building and in conjunction with the well-known owners, Kink.com, your passage into 2014 will be a whole New Bohemia. Headlining the event will be veteran producers The Crystal Method, who will be joined by noted Burning Man music camps, Distrikt, Opulent Temple, and Dusty Rhino. As for entertainment, the Vau de Vire acrobatic society will perform during the night, with a special show planned for countdown. Of course the experience wouldn't be complete without some action from Kink themselves, so be prepared for some demos scattered throughout the site, on top of art installations, 3D visuals, and a whole lot more.

The Crystal Method made waves this year when they performed a surprise guest set at EDC under the guise of The Owl Experience, playing a heavy festival set that drew crowds to the unknown main stage event. On top of this, their latest album will be dropping Jan 14th on iTunes and you can also catch their music on the TV show Almost Human.
