Download Gosteffect's remix of The KLF's "What Time Is Love"

The KLF were one of the first groups to ever incorporate hip hop with house and breaks all the way back in the late 1980s. Almost serving as an omen for the modern collaborations that we know now like Foreign Beggars, Cypress Hill & Rusko, or even Daft Punk and Pharrell. They strongly influenced the way music fans perceive the mixing of the genres in both communities.

Enter Gosteffects. The Oklahoma native now settled in New York City has garnered support from Benny Benassi, Steve Aoki, Robbie Rivera, Laidback Luke, Diplo, Chuckie, and Fatboy Slim to name a few. He's been at the top of Beatport and HypeM without breaking a sweat. Why he isn't fully famous as a producer/dj at this point? Maybe it's all part of being a "gost".

His remix of The KLF more than does them justice, it's almost like a tune that's halfway through a wormhole between 1988 and 2014. Gosteffects chopped the original just enough to get that old school feel while adding his own cutting edge techno synths and rhythms with that Bromance Records type bounce to it. If you're looking for something to download and rinse this weekend at your local underground dance party or blast on the main stage of any electronic music festival, this it.
