Monstercat and Karma Fields are here to make you "Sweat"

Is there a more forward thinking electronic music label than Monstercat? Founded in 2011, for the last 5 years the label has consistently given music fans some of the freshest, most avant-garde pieces of music this side of EDM. Whether it be drum n' bass, dubstep, electro, or more recently trap and bass music, Monstercat and its roster of top-tier artists are constantly pushing the envelope.

And today's release by Karma Fields fits that exact mold. Not just musicians, whoever is behind the ultra-secretive project is also focused on providing fans with both aural and visual experience unlike anything else.  Truly, some of the visual inspirations for their live show, "The Hex" are so progressive and awe-inspiring they might make Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz blush.

But I digress. Today, Karma Fields surprise-dropped a brand new single, not featured on last year's excellent debut album. "Sweat" is yet another incredible track, and features an almost primitive chanting intro, which picks up steam as the intro continues and rolls into a minimal-style hip-hop beat that just oozes swagger. The single is accompanied by two great remixes, and the Bixel Boys delivering a club-friendly deep house version.

But this Soulji remix guys. THIS SOULJI REMIX. If you don't do anything else today, check it out. Taking the original refrain and moving it toward the dark and industrial sounding, Soulji's remix adds more punch to what was already a great track, giving us something almost menacing, but flat-out incredible.
