If you're a fan of indie rock with an emphasis on the rock, it's time to get acquainted with Ultra Lights.
The Atlanta-based four-piece uses abrupt distortion and loose vocals to reel us into their latest single, "Bad Feeling." The song is short, sitting at under three minutes, but it packs a punch between the catchiness of the casual melody in the "I've got me a bad feeling" hook and a balanced grunge influence in the layers of guitar. The piece resolves with a wind-down ending, leaving us (and you) hopeful for more.
Luckily, this isn't the end. "Bad Feeling" marks the first single in advance of their debut full-length album Pleasure's All Yours, set for release on July 10th via Chunket.
