Austin-based band Strange Lot unveil textured and ethereal single "Nobody Seems To Do The Math," as they announce their upcoming debut self-titled LP.
Led by fuzzy guitars and layered synths, the shoegaze-tinged number is rooted in spontaneity having come together in a single. Speaking of the message at the core of the track, the band says, "The song centres on how quick we are to assume we understand the full picture before it’s actually revealed."
Accompanied by intimate visuals that compliment the hazy atmospheric quality of the track, "Nobody Seems To Do The Math," sets up Strange Lot's fresh sonic identity.
After finding himself without a band in 2022, Dominic Mena rebuilt with intention, pushing past the familiarity of psych’s 90’s revival to deliver a strong yet hypnotic soundscape. Fusing strong, driving rhythms with distorted guitars and crunchy synths, Strange Lot's next chapter is set to unfold with a bold identity and confidence.
