Sun Valley, Idaho-born and raised and now LA-based riser Scout Willis has just shared her latest irresistible single. Entitled "It Ain't Nothing," the track arrives alongside a beautifully shot, cinematic music video.

With "It Ain't Nothing," Scout Willis teams up with songwriter Steph Jones (Sabrina Carpenter, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato) to pen a song all about desire, seduction, and the push and pull of love. She sings, “It ain’t nothing to me baby, if I want you / Nothing to me baby, I can have you / When I look in your eyes, honey I see that fire / It ain’t nothing…it ain’t nothing,” revealing a narrative that feels both intimate and universally understood.

Musically, "It Ain't Nothing" is produced by JT Daly (Benson Boone) and Daniel Tashian (Kacey Musgraves) and features Scout Willis’ honeyed vocals gliding across timeless melodies that draw the listener in a little closer with each moment. Wistful guitar lines and folk-drenched soundscapes with splashes of indie-rock color create a dazzling backdrop, one that perfectly complements her raw emotional expression.

The single is shared alongside a music video directed by Lili Peper, featuring actor Thomas Doherty and Scout Willis herself. The video displays an intoxicating love affair in a dreamlike haze, full of longing, hesitation, and magnetic pull. Through moody lighting, intimate framing, and emotionally charged performances, the visual mirrors the song’s exploration of desire and inevitability, blurring the lines between fantasy and reality.

But what lingers most is her commitment to honest, unvarnished sentiment. “It Ain’t Nothing” feels like a confident step forward, a track that showcases not just her vocal warmth and songwriting instincts, but her growing ability to turn vulnerability into something powerful and magnetic. It’s a captivating offering from an artist who continues to carve out her own space with grace, grit, and undeniable charm.

Scout Willis is garnering much acclaim with her musical releases and breathtaking live shows. She recently wrapped a sold-out domestic tour opening for Kingfish and delivered a standout performance alongside St. Vincent, Hayley Williams, Jenny Lewis, and more at an LA benefit show earlier this year.
