The four-piece garage-punk band SLICERRR, based out of Helsinki, Finland, released their new music video for their track “Turbo Spinello” on August 13th. The track comes off their debut self-titled EP, which was released February 7th by Dödstil.
The music video is done in one take and follows one of the band’s members as he runs through the streets of a city in a matching tracksuit and sunglasses, picking up several snacks and drinks along the way, while never slowing down. The video is complete with gloriously early-YouTube-style editing, a heartbeat monitor in the corner of the screen, which steadily goes up throughout the video, and a very confused dog featured at the video’s end.
The visuals of the video match the band’s sound: messy and chaotic, with an element of self-aware camp for good measure. If you are a person who is always looking for new underground punk to add to your playlist, SLICERRR, especially their tracks “Turbo Spinello” and “Losing My Grip,” should be on your radar.
