The LA-based rock band Beauty School Dropout is continuing their boldest era yet with their latest single, "TWO OF US," and music video.
The video begins with the title, TWO OF US, flashing in red font, giving an 80s-movie feel. Throughout the video, the band performs the song in the rain surrounded by a group of dancers. The song and the video are constantly moving; even when the music quiets and the visuals slow, there's a steady strumming beat that keeps the energy moving forward. This, along with the track's high-energy chorus, makes the song something listeners will want to dance to.
The song itself adds a darker sound to the band's new album. The stark contradiction between the simple and sultry verses and the entrance of the full band in the song's chorus checks every box of memorable music and impressive vocals.
The single was released on Friday and follows "ON YOUR LIPS," "FEVER," and "SEX APPEAL," as the fourth single off of the band's upcoming album, WHERE DID ALL THE BUTTERFLIES GO? set to be released on September 5th via Verswire.
The album will also coincide with a world tour including an appearance at Warped Tour and shows with Blink-182.
