Heavy blimps are hovering within House Of Hustle’s radar this month. Groovy as the sea and as expansive as the universe, this collection of tracks and artists has already gained merit from the top. Dive into the releases, and if you haven’t already, meet NEM, Davani, General Moses, JOEDI, Lucci Minati, JTJ, and KICA.

San Francisco-based artists NEM and Davani’s collaborative effort, the ‘Doordasher’ EP has been a long time coming. After years of clubbing and navigating the rave scene together, the two created two certified club-bangers showcasing their distinctive underground tech house energy. The tracks found their home on House Of Hustle after receiving enthusiasm from Westend and creating a buzz through the crowds during NEM's performances supporting John Summit at his Experts Only's Tahoe edition and passing the decks to J.Worra in San Francisco.

Within the family pool, NEM has received support from Monoky, Dirty Epic LA, and Moonlight Fiziks, while making notable appearances opening for Dom Dolla or Chris Lorenzo at Madarae. Meanwhile, under his Soundproof project, he is helping curate good vibes by hosting artists such as Lee Foss and CID. He also never forgets to include the Soundproof family in his sets, as seen at the Day to Night festival on Treasure Island, where he performed alongside GORDO and Duke Dumont.

As a producer just hitting his stride in the studio Davani, comes off an early release on Soundproof Records, and as a DJ, he is popping out of the San Francisco scene with Neon Bucket Management in his corner. General Moses swirls it up and drops more heat, back on Hustletrax May 9 with JOEDI for ‘Watch Me’, his return to our sister label since debuting the imprint back in November with TV personality and model Ellie Gonsalves.  In the studio the General is joined by JOEDI for a tune that has no hidden agenda, unraveling a classic house journey to bring you right back onto the dancefloor (the first of its kinda on Hustletrax or House Of Hustle). Between Hustletrax releases, General Moses has been hosting the House Of Hustle radio and podcast all while releasing music on Toolroom Records, Strange Love, Data Transmission, and HOH, with one coming next month on The Vibe Arrived.

Having JOEDI debut on Hustletrax points us to spots like MODE Miami where the imprint he co-founded, House of Humanz, is regulating curating the night while the likes of Jamie Jones has played the label’s releases out. With a spirit belting, “The Artist Never Die,” JOEDI is also driving the popular media channel, Legends of The Culture, and the production team, SOHK Creative.

Recently, we are back with another heater from Lucci Minati, this time delivering the ‘My Body’ EP, a two-tracker packed with playful energy and a low-end attitude. Since his debut with us last September, Luccis has been on a roll, and this release keeps the momentum going. ‘My Body’ brings an infectious vocal loop, rolling percussion, and that signature Lucci bounce, while ‘Daddy’ dives into a deeper groove with chunky drums and a vocal flip that hits just right. Both tracks are full of personality, quirky, tight, and primed for peak-time mischief.

JTJ joins the Hustletrax with ‘Pura Vida’ out now on May 23, a deep and hypnotic roller built for groovers who like it subtle but effective. Blending tight percussion, warm low-end, and minimal vocal chops, Pura Vida channels laid-back energy with underground sensibility. A polished debut from the LA-based producer and a perfect fit for early sets or after-hours flow. JTJ or Jeff Saenz is a colossal blimp on May’s radar, considering his deep roots in Los Angeles’ scene.

Sealing up this month will be a 2-track EP by KICA from Dubai called ‘25 Lighters’, available today. ‘25 Lighters’ brings chopped vocals and chunky low-end pressure with serious attitude and an indelible hook you will want to hold onto. ‘Paro Caña’ is raw, rhythmic, and unapologetically club-ready. We encourage you to join KICA in his adventures: The Planet Entertainment, Planet Sound, Footworks Show, and EXOTIKA.
