After years of gracing tracks throughout the PRnB field and the release of his LET IT RAIN EP, RnB phenom Leven Kali is back with his first single in three years.
The 2010s marked a significant period within RnB, culminating in niche subgenres and some of the most diverse and richest sounds that pushed the genre forward. Towards the latter half, Leven Kali was responsible for a handful of tracks that defined the era, as a feature and a stand-alone artist. Tracks like "Thursday" and "Do U Wrong" were definitive late-night grooves and showcased Kali's attention to detail and encapsulating vibrato.
After years of working with other heavy hitters like ANOTR, Erik Bandt, Adi Oasis, and writing Grammy winning tracks for Beyonce's Renaissance, Kali is back with a dynamic new single to mark a new chapter.
"ARE U STILL" features the same poignant and sincere songwriting, but with a more jazzy flow. Kali's buttery vocals slide over animated drums with some intense moments of instrumentation, making for an explosive entrance to a new year.
