Rising alternative indie artist CON THE ARTIST has released Best Days, a deeply introspective EP that captures the emotional spectrum of heartbreak, personal growth, and self-discovery. With a sound rooted in alternative, indie, and alt-pop influences, the record takes listeners on a journey through dynamic production, heartfelt storytelling, and raw vulnerability.

At the heart of Best Days lies “Bad Guy,” the EP’s poignant closing track. A stripped-down acoustic ballad reflecting on the emotional fallout of a long-distance relationship fractured by infidelity. Free from elaborate production, “Bad Guy” focuses solely on its hauntingly honest lyrics and delicate instrumentation, transforming the pain of betrayal into a cathartic moment of healing.

“Bad Guy” holds a special place in the artist's journey, marking a turning point in both life and music. "The song captures a chapter of my life that was both devastating and transformative," explains CON THE ARTIST. "It’s about acknowledging pain, confronting my flaws, and ultimately finding peace."

The emotional depth of the track, combined with its unpolished acoustic style, resonates with audiences as a genuine reflection of vulnerability and resilience. For CON, the process of writing “Bad Guy” was not just an artistic release but a pivotal step toward closure.

"It was the day I finally let go. I was carrying bitterness and regret for far too long. This song represents my triumph over those emotions and my acceptance of who I am, flaws and all."

Beyond “Bad Guy,” Best Days is an eclectic blend of moods and styles that showcases CON’s range as both a songwriter and producer. The EP opens with bold, electrifying tracks featuring gritty vocals, intense distortion, and storm-like percussion, reflecting raw emotion and unbridled energy. As the record progresses, it transitions into a more experimental space, incorporating hip-hop-inspired beats, layered guitar samples, and introspective lyrics.

"This project gave me the freedom to explore every facet of my love for music," shares CON THE ARTIST. "It starts loud and chaotic, then shifts into grooves and textures, before ending in a place of complete vulnerability. It’s the most honest I’ve ever been as an artist."

CON THE ARTIST’s music is characterized by its ability to connect on a deeply personal level, drawing listeners in with candid storytelling and evocative melodies. With Best Days, the artist solidifies their place as a rising voice in alternative and indie music, blending sonic experimentation with a raw, relatable narrative.

As CON THE ARTIST continues to grow their audience across platforms, Best Days stands as a defining moment in their artistic evolution—a fearless exploration of life’s complexities, delivered with unfiltered emotion and undeniable authenticity.
