Los Angeles-based artist Flyght Club has just dropped his new single “Nobody Else Knows,” in which he sings about a love interest who is a chameleon of sorts. Beneath her sweet and innocent exterior, she harbored a carefree and untamed personality that came alive behind closed doors. Reflecting on this hidden side, the songwriter admits to finding joy in the fact that he was able to witness both versions of her, cherishing the secret that only he knew. The songwriter shares, “There was a side to her that only I knew and it was so unexpected but fun to experience this.”
“Nobody Else Knows” sees Flyght Club entering a new sonic direction, as he crafts a concoction of 80’s synth-pop mixed with modern blues rock, delivering something that is distinctly his own. Flyght Club, who is also known as Shauvik Sharan explains, “The goal with this song was to make honest music, going back to my roots with giving importance to the electric guitar, both in terms of production and songwriting, while still making something groovy and fun that people can dance and sing along to.”
