Cliffbado returns with new album 'Eyes on the Boy (Deluxe)'

Rising Nigerian Afrobeats artist Cliffbado releases the deluxe version of his new project Eyes on the Boy. The project is a testament to his musical work ethic and his mission to shed positive light on the Nigerian Diaspora doing great things outside their home country. The Houston, Texas artist doesn't shy from his Nigerian roots and delivers a unique Afrobeats sound filled with bright, plucky and groovy soundscapes littered with playful melodies and themes of love, heartbreak, loss, perseverance and appreciation for life.

The project starts with the title track "EYES ON THE BOY" and the mid-tempo "CARO," 2 tracks that quickly put audiences into Cliffbado's shoes. The former dives into heartbreak, fake love and moving on to greater things while the latter is a go-getter-themed track that highlights Cliffbado's rich Nigerian spirit and his never-say-die attitude towards chasing his goals for his lady. Next is the smooth summery vibe on "SCREENSAVER," a playful love tune that captures Cliffbado's romantic interest and how she brings him joy. Here, he uses quite several references to highlight his undying love for the lady who decorates his screensaver. Next are two sets of tracks that continue the love theme section of the project. The downtempo guitar-driven "PICK UP" where Cliffbado pines for a lover who hasn't picked up his calls and he is anxiously waiting for the moment to quench his desire for her. On "JENNIFER" featuring singer MUMBARA, the duo trade adulation-filled performances ripe with sultry melodies over hypnotic backdrops.

The last three tracks serve as additions to the deluxe version and help complete the project on high notes. From the upbeat club banger "GYAL," adulation-filled "TRY" and "KILO MATA." Overall, Eyes on the Boy (Deluxe) is all about positive vibes, smooth melodies and love.

Cliffbado was born in Imo State, Nigeria, and is now based in Houston, Texas. He received his tertiary education in the United States, during which time he honed his musical skills and cultivated a passion for music making.
