On making “Never Know”, Ab shares, “I made this track back in February. I usually start with a kick track or sand track for rhythm and then begin looping guitar melodies together. I use a lot of different layers when it comes to the ambient vocals, as well as a couple of multi-effect plugins to create the rippling vocal bed in the background. I like to use my falsetto almost as a blanket for my songs, to add an ambient feel. I wrote this song about not judging a book by its cover; we all have personal battles that we don’t share, so before you are quick to judge, think about the vulnerable things you don’t share.”
