Once again recruiting some of the most talented and diverse selection of remix talent – L.A based duo Peppermint Heaven return with the emphatic new Summer Revolution remix package. An absolute standout from the set of releases, is the emphatic and retro-influenced remix from Dirty Disco, which takes us straight back to the glory years of italo disco, with a potent chugging synth bass layered below some "hands-in-the-air" synth stabs.
The entire EP release has a glorious, joyful disco-pop sound. The EP starts with a groove-rich, synth-pop remix from 7th Heaven. The vocals take center stage above an atmosphere of phased synths and bass stabs. We’re then treated to a warm and rich, synth composition from Kue. This track is clearly distinctive for it’s Daft Punk-esque bassline, providing an infectious groove throughout.
