Nigerian Afropop royalty Tekno recently teamed up with Mr. Eazi’s innovative independent label emPawa Africa, which led to his massive hit "Wayo. Now he is ready to go with another brand-new release titled "No Forget." The mid-tempo guitar-driven tune is a heartfelt plea to his lover not to play with his heart. The production by Egar Boi is striking as he crafts a rich backdrop ripe with warm pads, and prevalent guitar riffs that exude solemnity for Tekno to showcase his vulnerability. The singer then proceeds to detail the emotional pain that comes with the possibility of heartbreak but the hope of love prevailing keeps his hopes alive.
"No Forget" is the latest release from Tekno since his new partnership and joint venture with emPawa Africa.
Singer/songwriter/producer Tekno debuted in 2015 with his hit "Pana" and he continued to dazzle crowds with his Afrocentric blend of contemporary R&B, and Afropop. His impressive list of achievements includes an MTV Africa Music Award, and two Headies Awards (Nigeria’s GRAMMY equivalent), as well as a BET Award nomination.
