Buckinghamshire-hailing three-piece band Tiyto shares vivid and ethereal single “Patience,” blending warm electronica and smooth R&B showcase a dark but expansive style that feels thoughtful and optimistic all at once.
With intricate, layered melodies, crisp vocal lines and soaring emotions, the intense yet hazy anthem is an exercise in Tiyto’s signature sound. Striking a balance between electronic and natural drum elements, the enchanting production is a showcase of versatility.
Speaking of the track, the band explains, “Patience is a track that I have been looking forward for us to release for a long time. The style of beat is exactly the type I like to produce. With a darker sound, ambient synths and 808-style trap drums thrown into the mix. I loved creating another track with a huge sub in the chorus and with a crunchy lead guitar line.
The core of this track is the bass line! A lot of the bass in our earlier stuff is more simple root notes. So I really wanted to write a line which was catchy and something which would sound way more interesting live!"
Rooted in an experimental artistry that they constantly refine, Tiyto continue to establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with.
