Australian trio daste. return with their new single "Colours," a vibrant indie/alt-pop gem that offers a tantalizing preview of their upcoming album. Inspired by the lyrical creativity of UK band Easy Life, "Colours" showcases daste.'s ability to transport listeners to a saturated, euphoric soundscape.

The track begins with a catchy, upbeat rhythm that immediately makes fans stand up and notice. Callum MacDonald’s evocative lyrics paint vivid scenes, transforming the song into a sensory journey. Braxton Tahi’s contributions add depth, particularly through a new verse and enriched vocal harmonies that provide the song with its namesake "colour." The addition of Jim Alxndr’s saxophone infuses the track with a warm, nostalgic vibe, enhancing its overall sonic appeal.

"Colours" has evolved into a lush, love-filled utopia where the atmosphere is perpetually perfect. This single not only highlights daste.'s growth in lyrical and musical complexity but also sets a high bar for their forthcoming album. They've also just announced live shows across Australia and North America, starting in Melbourne on August 2nd and continuing through major cities like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
