Rising Nigerian pop star Ben Anansi's love for music started at home where he absorbed the music played around him growing up. Before he reached his teens, he was already singing and slowly started writing his songs as a way of expressing himself. Born in Benue State in the North Central part of Nigeria, he and his family moved to Abuja where he spent most of his developing years before moving to Lagos to pursue his music career. In 2017, he released his debut single “GHETTOYUTE” featuring Pixie and proceeded to headline live events curated by him and his team. He now returns with a brand new jam for the summer titled "Woman", a smooth adulation-filled record peppered with soulful guitar licks, a hypnotic drum groove and Ben's enthralling melodic runs. As the title suggests, it's an ode to all the African women across the globe and sees Ben praising the God-given qualities that make them different and unique from everyone else.
On 27th November 2020 Ben Anansi released his debut album BADYUTE comprising twelve songs showing his versatility and unique style under Badyute Entertainment and is set to release his EP titled ANANSI in June 2024.
